Laminate is stylish enough for any room in the house

One of the questions we hear a lot in our showroom is this: “Can I install laminate flooring in my bedroom (or living room)?

The answer is YES! It sure isn’t what you may remember from the 1970s whenit was first introduced to the American market. Modern technology has done away with those flat images, so the flooring now comes with a remarkable resemblance to wood, tile, or stone with texturizing features that also make it look wire-brushed, distressed, or antiqued.

The Floor Source & More lives by these words: “Customers will long remember poor service” so we do it right the first time.

We’re also your go-to for carpet, flooring, and home improvement needs. We have 40 years of experience and boast an impressive inventory of carpet, hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl, waterproof flooring, tile, vinyl, glass mosaics, and cork. We also provide services, such as kitchen and bath remodeling, countertop installation, hardwood refinishing, and more.

Our showroom is in Southlake, TX and we service Southlake, Trophy Club, Keller, North Richland Hills, and Colleyville.

Reasons to love it

  • Style. It is available in a large range of colors, patterns, designs, and species. Laminate comes in either sheet form, or it can be cut into plank and tile-sizes--and those additional seams make it even more realistic. Add a gloss finish to your wood-look laminate to give your room an extra high-end look. Give your home some architectural interest with stone, or add some pops of color with the tiles. You can get just about everything, including gray and wide planks that are so popular right now, or the latest trending colors.
  • Durability. It’s a layered product, and at the top is super-strong clear plastic wear sheet to protect it from scratches and fading.
  • Easy to clean; stains and spills just wipe up. Regular sweeping and a mop dampened with water and a manufacturer-approved soap is all it takes.
  • Easy to install, either by DIY or professional installation. It can be installed over most existing floors with either glue down or the click-and-lock method.
  • Good for allergy and asthma sufferers. Dust mites, pollutants, and other particles have nowhere to hide. They sit right on the surface, so when you sweep, out they go.

Laminate flooring is made from wood byproducts and can be damaged by excess water. Wipe spills immediately, and be sure any mop is well-wrung to avoid water seepage into the joints.
